  • Combine all ingredients except wanton skins.
  • Fill wanton squares with 1 teaspoon of mixture.
  • Fold over making triangles.
  • Moisten to seal the edges.
  • Use water or egg.
  • Fry in oil for 3 minutes or until browned and puffed.
  • Turn once.
  • Serve with Chinese Mustard.

  1. I love this recipe!!!! My hubby and I recently relocated and sadly that meant moving away from the best Chinese place ever. They made amazing crab puffs! So I had no choice but to find an amazing recipe. Here are my helpful hints to this recipe. Use Philadelphia brand Cream Cheese it is so much easier to work with. I left out the bread crumbs and ended up folding them like won tons which allowed more room for filling.....yum! and then I added some ground ginger and garlic powder (not garlic salt) and some pepper all to taste. Also I did not use the sesame oil. Hope this helps someone! :D
