This recipe is WONDERFUL!! I followed it to the tee except for adding some red pepper flakes for heat. I think next time I will also only put 1 tsp of sesame oil in the sauce b/c it was to strong for me. I will definately be making this again.

This was a hit! I can't believe how good it turned out with very simple ingredients! I used cidar vinegar and brown sugar for a sweeter taste. I also used lite soy for both the marinade and sauce. For the deep frying, I used regular vegetable oil. These were what I had on hand, and it worked well. Thank you for posting!

This recipe was great. I've tried many times to make this type of chicken, and it never came out right. This was perfect. Great taste.. just the right amount of sweet and spicy. Thanks for the great recipe.

I've never left a review before, but this recipe was too good to not review. It was, without question, the BEST sesame chicken I've ever had! The chicken was moist and tender and the infusion of flavors perfect! I couldn't find the chili paste, so I substituted 1 tsp red pepper flakes for it. I will make this a regular part of our menu. Thanks so much for sharing!

I don't deep fry much, so I messed up the coating, but even so the sauce made the dish excellent. I'm sure if I prepare it right next time it will properly earn 5 stars.

This recipe is awesome! My family ate it up and asked for more. They all love the chicken we get at the mall from China Wok, now I can make it at home. The sauce was a little runny at first, but I let it boil a few minutes and it thickened up to the right consistency. Thanks for sharing, I will be making this often!

This is an excellent recipe for Sesame Chicken! Flawless ... just as the name implies! I did not have chili paste on hand, so I used red pepper flakes (about 3/4 tsp.) and the "heat level" was just right. You did not mention the type of vinegar to use, so I used Rice Wine Vinegar, which turned out great. Thanks for posting this! We will definately be making this again!

This recipe was so great. My fiance loves asian food and take out has so much stuff bad stuff in it and the sodium is crazy!! I love cooking and to cook such an amazing recipe at home was great. This was comparable, if not better than take out! Thanks so much!!!

If I could give you more stars I would... This recipe is just wonderful!!! I made it for the two of us, and we ate the whole amount; my husband then asked if I had more!!! I will be serving this soon again. Very, very nice. If I could I would tell everyone at Zaar to make it!
