My best friend makes this as an appetiser when we visit, minus the cayenne in the mix and the apples on the side. She always serves it with cranberry sauce. Cranberry sauce is such a winner with this recipe. It doesn't seem like a natural pairing, but it works SO well!

really enjoyed these - the first ones I left in a bit too long and they lost the cheese! - Very nice though - we had them with a fijola and honey jam which went well - think a sweet chilli sauce would be nice too.

These came out looking like fish fingers and they were sooooo good with the sweet red apples we had!! Recipe states it serves 4 but I DON'T THINK SO!!! The next time I make this recipe, it gonna serve just one and that's ME!! Muahaha!!! Mine all mine!!!!
