    Ingredients:

    Servings:

    Units: US | Metric

    • 2 -3 lbs chicken wings (I prefer legs)
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1 (12 ounce) bottle louisiana hot sauce (only hot sauce I found with the right taste)
    • 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
    • 2 tablespoons paprika
    • 1 -2 cup flour
    • vegetable oil (for frying)

    Directions:

    1. 1
      Need: Large bowl with lid.
    2. 2
Wash chicken and shake off excess water.
    3. 3
Coat chicken lightly with flour. (I use a Ziploc bag. It is easier.).
    4. 4
Add Cayenne and Parika to chicken in bag.
    5. 5
Let set in fridge for an hour (makes the batter stay on better).
    6. 6
      Preheat oil to 450.
    7. 7
Fry chicken until juice runs clear.
    8. 8
Heat butter and hot sauce in small saucepan.
    9. 9
When chicken is done, place in large plastic bowl.
    10. 10
Add hot sauce mixture. Place lid on bowl.
    11. 11
Shake until chicken is well coated.
    12. 12
Serve immediately with Ranch or Bleu Cheese Dressing and celery.
    13. 13
Amount of servings depends on type of chicken used. Legs have more meat, so they serve more people.
