  • Grind/pound anchovies,garlic,shallots and chili into paste.
  • Deep fry cubed tofu until golden brown.
  • Set aside on paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  • Deep fry tempeh until golden brown.
  • Set aside on paper towel to absorb excess oil.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in wok.
  • Fry the ground/pound ingredients for 1 minute over medium heat.
  • Add kicap manis, salt and sugar.
  • Stir until sugar and salt dissolve.
  • Add fried tempeh and tofu.
  • Stir until tempeh and tofu coated with sauce.
  • Serve with rice.
