Rating only the dipping sauce. Tangy and tasty. I didn't have buttermilk, so this soured milk version served nicely. I used a Gorgonzola blue cheese and the blue flavor wasn't overpowering. I was worried that this was a bit runny after mixing it up, but it thickened up a bit upon sitting. My husband didn't care for it, so I'll keep looking for something we agree on, but I really enjoyed the mix of flavors in this one. Thanks for sharing.

Though I didn't get the dipping sauce made- as I forgot the crumbled blue cheese (so just used blue cheese dressing) the wings themselves came out wonderful! Really made our non traditional Christmas dinner. Thanks for posting one of Frugie's recipes. It's a keeper.

The blue cheese dipping sauce is out of this world! I love blue cheese dressings and have tried a bunch of them. This one is right near the top as far as I'm concerned. Definitely tastes better with mellowing. Thanks for suggesting this one, Chef Shadows.
